One of the great things about living in the Estes Valley is that when one of our “homies” needs some support, the community rallies! And that is exactly what will be happening with the Jerrypalooza celebration on September 30 at the American Legion Post 119 on the corner of Highways 7 and 36. Jerry Schrag has been a resident of Estes Park, a staff member at Upper Thompson Sanitation District, and part of the local music scene for decades. Earlier this summer, when Jerry was struck with unexpected medical bills beyond his insurance coverage, local musicians decided to hold a fundraiser to help pay those bills. The band Tahosa is leading this event, and they are joined by the bands Night Owl and Midnight Trampoline for an eight hour (2 pm – 10 pm) celebration of Fall, of life, and of Jerry Schrag. Expect to find plenty of live music, food, fun, prizes, hugging and kissing at this great event! No cover charge, but please bring your generosity to donate to this worthy cause. This special event is open to all!
